When preparing a design, try to visually assess whether the font size will be a manageable size. We usually recommend a minimum text size of about 6-7pt, but each font should be approached individually.
The sharpest and most clear text comes out in black K=100%.
Due to unavoidable shifts during the production process, avoid placing important content closer than 3mm from the cutting edge.
Bleeds are elements that extend beyond the cutting lines and the final size of the business card. If any graphics are to be printed to the edge, they should extend beyond the cutting area by 3 mm on each side.
The graphics or photos you use should not have a resolution lower than 300 dpi - otherwise, it may affect print quality.
Due to cutting tolerance, avoid placing frames too close to the edges. 5mm is a definite minimum.
For the best black depth, especially when dealing with larger elements, use the CMYK color 30-30-30-100. For text, we recommend CMYK 0-0-0-100. With extensive dark color coverage, we advise against using soft-touch foil, which can quickly get dirty.
